- What is my email-id/email address?
Your email-id or email address is an address, which can be used to send or receive emails e.g. yourname@yourdomain.com. Your email-id consists of two parts - local part and domain part. In yourname@yourdomain.com the word "yourname" is called local part and "yourdomian.com" is the domain part.
- What is pop3 mail?
POP3 stands for "Post Office Protocol Version 3" which is used to retrieve emails kept on a mail server to your PC using an email client such as "Microsoft Outlook Express", "Microsoft Outlook", "Netscape Messenger", "Eudora Mail" etc.
- What is web mail?
Web mail is an email service, which is used to check emails using a web browser such as "Microsoft Internet Explorer", "Netscape Navigator" etc
- What is my mailbox?
Mailbox is the space that stores the messages sent to your email address. Every email-id has one mailbox attached to it.
- What is my email alias?
If your email address is yourname@yourdomain.com, email alias is "yourname" (part of your email address before @ sign). It is also called "local part" of an email address.
- What packages does In2biz offer?
Depending on your requirements you can subscribe to 5 ID's, 10 ID's OR 15 ID's packages
- If I have already registered domain name through other service provider can I host it with In2biz?
No, at present we are not allowing the same, however may allow in near future
- Can I register a domain name with In2biz and subscriber to e-mail hosting and website hosting services from any other service provider?
Yes, you will get a control panel to manage you registered domain with which you can configure MX and A records
- Can I register a domain name and latter subscribe to e-mail hosting and website hosting services from In2biz?
Yes, it is not mandatory to subscribe to all services at the same time. However, domain name has to be registered first before subscribing to e-mail hosting and website hosting.
- Do I need to contact In2biz to add any new users or modify?
No, you can manage services from "Manage Services " page.
- As a Administrator, how do I create an E-mail ID's on my company domain name?

Type URL http://in2biz.in in your browser. Log In using your User Name and Password with option to "Manage My Services". This shall lead you to "Manage Services" page.

On "Manage Services" page click "Manage" against E-mail Hosting. A pop up window shall appear

Click on the "Manage E-mail Hosting My User"
- Step4
To create a new email account, click on "Add User" button and specify the email address you wish to create along with the password. You can also define the quota for that particular user.

You can access your mail box using a WebMail. Log In to http://webmail.sme.vsnl.com
And provide your E-mail ID (yourname@yourdomain.com) and your Password to see your mailbox.
- As a Administrator, how do I change the password of Users email-id?

Type URL http://in2biz.in in your browser. Log In using your User Name and Password with option to "Manage My Services". This shall lead you to "Manage Services" page

On "Manage Services" page click "Manage" against E-mail Hosting. A new up window shall appear

Click on the "Manage E-mail Hosting - My User"

To change the password for a particular user select the user (radio button) and click on change password. Provide the new password and click "change it"
- How do I change my email alias?

Type URL http://in2biz.in in your browser. Log In using your User Name and Password with option to "Manage My Services". This shall lead you to "Manage Services" page

On "Manage Services" page click "Manage" against E-mail Hosting. A pop up window shall appear

Click on the "Manage E-mail Hosting - My User"

Delete the existing user and create a new user.
- How can I redirect emails sent to my email-id on to another email-id? (Email Forwarding)
End user can login to the WebMail (http://webmail.sme.vsnl.com) and then click on "options". By using the "Auto Mail Forward" tool, user can redirect his incoming mails to some other email id.
- What is mailbox quota? (Maximum allowable size for my mailbox)
It is size defined for user's mail box. As a system administrator, you can define the quota while creating the Users E-mail ID's, subject to availability of subscribed space.
- What is SPAM?
SPAM is unsolicited/unwanted email message(s), which is/are sent to a recipient against his/her will. SPAM most commonly includes bulk commercial email, which is sent to multiple email address for the purpose of advertising of a product or service with a common subject and message body. SPAM doesn't always mean bulk email but anything that is objectionable to the recipient.
- What is the maximum message size that I can send or receive using my email-id?
SMTP (Simple Message Transfer Protocol) is traditionally the protocol that is meant for transfer of short messages on the Internet and shouldn't be misused for transferring huge data. Maximum message size should not increase 5 MB under normal circumstances.
- I am unable to receive any emails sent to my email-id, why?
Make sure the MX record for your domain is smtp2.sme.vsnl.com and your domain has not expired yet else you won't receive any emails on your domain.
Also, check your "POP" and "SMTP" is configurations in the E-mail client like "Microsoft Outlook Express", "Microsoft Outlook", "Netscape Messenger", "Eudora Mail" etc.
