When you download the eCheckPost setup file, use the same setup file to install
eCheckPost on more than one computer. This will let you manage more than one computer
from one central location (that is, the eCheckPost profile management webpage).

- What do I need to do before installing eCheckPost
?
- Make sure that all firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs are disabled or
deactivated before attempting to install eCheckPost. Failure to do so may cause
interference with the installation process, and may affect your Internet connectivity.
You can reactivate your other applications once installation is complete.
- Ensure that you are connected to the Internet before commencing the CK Express installation.
- How do I install eCheckPost?
You will need to consult your eCheckPost User Guide for detailed instructions, with
screenshots, on how to install eCheckPost.
- How do I uninstall eCheckPost?
Click on the eCheckPost tray icon and under Local Controls select Uninstall.
Note: You CANNOT uninstall eCheckPost from Add/Remove Programs in
Control Panel.
- How do I re-download my software?
When you re-download eCheckPost you DON’T lose any settings/configuration from your
profile.
- Click on the eCheckPost; tray icon and select Filter Settings.
- Log in using your admin password.
- Click Re-download under My Details link. (This should give you the
latest version of eCheckPost ).
- How do I re-install eCheckPost?
- If you already have eCheckPost running, deactivate it by clicking on the eCheckPost
tray icon and under Local Controls select Deactivate.
- Double-Click eCheckPostInstaller.exe and follow the installation steps. (eCheckPostInstaller.exe
can be obtained from http://www.in2biz.in/ in using
the Re-download link from under My Details).
- I tried to install eCheckPost and it says I must
be an administrator?
You must have Administrator privileges to install eCheckPost on your computer. You
will need to log out of Windows and log back in as Administrator or a user with
Administrative privileges.
- No Internet after installing eCheckPost?
One of the main causes for no Internet connectivity is that the firewall, anti-virus
and/or anti-spyware programs installed on your laptop or PC interrupted the eCheckPost
installation. One of the first troubleshooting steps that can be taken is to uninstall
and reinstall eCheckPost, making sure all the firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware
programs are disabled during install.
You may also try the following steps:
- Check if your network cable is plugged in.
- Turn filtering off, by selecting Filtering Enabled! Select to Disable option
from eCheckPost tray menu.
- If Internet is still not working, deactivate the product by selecting Deactivate
from Administration Options in the eCheckPost tray menu.
- If the Internet is still not working, restart your computer.
- If everything else fails, contact http://www.in2biz.in/support.aspx
- Will eCheckPost slow my Internet access down?
Because eCheckPost works based on the Secure Classification Nodes situated in-the-cloud,
and because all resource-intensive processing takes place in-the-cloud, users should
not experience a noticeable effect on their Internet speed due to eCheckPost. But
if you do experience a significant lag in performance after installing eCheckPost,
it may be because of the following:-
- You did not disable your Firewall and/or other Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware solution/s
before your eCheckPost installation. In this case, uninstall eCheckPost (see the
User Guide) and re-install after disabling all such applications.
- You may have other Internet filtering programs installed – these may be conflicting
with eCheckPost. In this case, you should uninstall them.
Does eCheckPost limit computer time or only Internet
time?
eCheckPost only controls users Internet activity, therefore it can only limit time
a user can spend on Internet. It is not related to computer use.
How do I log in to eCheckPost?
- Click on the eCheckPost tray icon and select Filter Settings.
- Log in using your admin password.
How do I know if eCheckPost is working properly?
- Click on the eCheckPost tray icon and under Local Status select View Local
Live Reporting.
- When you start browsing Internet, you should see the dialog box populate with the
websites you browse.
How do I check on Internet activity from a remote
location?
- Click on the eCheckPost tray icon.
- Select Filter Settings.
- Log in using your administration password.
- Click on Control under Monitoring and turn Monitoring on for the desired
time period.
- You can also view reports in graphical form under Reports.
Can eCheckPost be easily bypassed or removed?
eCheckPost can only be disabled by a person with Administrator access. It is important
that administrators keep usernames and passwords secure for this reason.
- To bypass eCheckPost, turn filtering off, by selecting Filtering Enabled! Select
to Disable option from eCheckPost tray menu. All Internet traffic will be bypassed
using this option, but eCheckPost will continue to run and perform its background
operations.
- To completely stop eCheckPost deactivate it by clicking on the eCheckPost tray icon
and under Local Controls select Deactivate
Is it possible for employees to turn eCheckPost
off or otherwise disable it?
When you download eCheckPost, you will be asked to create a password. Only someone
with the correct password can turn eCheckPost off. It is recommended that administrators
keep their passwords safe and secure.
How do I configure different filtering settings
for different users or computers?

How do I check the category of a website?
- Click on the eCheckPost tray icon and under Local Status select View Local
Live Reporting.
- The fifth column displays the category of the URLs browsed.
How do I allow a site that is blocked?
- When you receive a eCheckPost Blockpage, Click on the Bypass link.
- Provide the administration credentials and click on the Bypass button. You
should be directed to the website.
How do I block or allow a specific website?
To block or allow specific websites, use Custom URLs from eCheckPost profile
management. For detailed instructions please refer to your eCheckPost User Guide
I can’t see pictures on an allowed website?
It is common for certain websites to host content, including pictures, from other
websites. In these cases, some pictures may either be blocked due to their content
(for example, they may be adult pictures), or they may be blocked because they come
from a website that is blocked.
What if eCheckPost blocks a website that I don’t
want it to block?
- You can add that website to Custom URLs for your profile and mark it as allowed.
- You can also temporarily bypass the website by using the bypass link on the Blockpage.
How do I switch between eCheckPost users?
There are two ways to switch between users:.
- Click on the eCheckPost tray icon and select Log in/Logout.
- Select a username and enter password.
- Click on the Login button.
Or, if you have “Windows User Integration” enabled you can switch between users
by following these steps
- Log out from Windows using Start Menu and the selecting Log Off.
- Log in as the eCheckPost user you wish to change to.
When I access some menu options, the eCheckPost
tray icon prompts me for a username and password. Which username and password should
I supply?
Some menu options in eCheckPost require the administrator username and password,
so that individuals cannot bypass eCheckPost filtering by any means.
By default, eCheckPost creates a user called “admin” which you can use to
log in along with the password which you supplied during the download process.
You can also create administrator users from eCheckPost profile management. For

How do I reset my eCheckPost password?
You can change your eCheckPost password via the web-based management interface,
after logging in at in2biz.in, by following these
steps:
- Click on “People” to begin
- You should be presented with a page that allows you to either change the account
settings or the password
- Enter new password, confirm it and then click “Change Password"
How do I override filtering settings for a time
period?
In order to override filter settings, you need to have administration credentials.
If you do not, then you cannot circumvent filtering
For users with credentials, they can circumvent filtering for a certain time period
by selecting “Bypass” when they receive a blockpage. They will be prompted for their
credentials and then given the option of bypassing filtering for a specific time
period.
How do I set time limitations on Web browsing?
You can set browsing time limitations for groups of users or individuals through
the “Filtering Settings” menu in the Web-based interface. You can change Time Settings
in the Default filtering profile by clicking on the “Time Settings” option and configuring
the time limitations, or you can create your own groups and apply different Time
Settings to different users.
Will eCheckPost be able to detect when Time Tampering
has occurred? For example, when someone is trying to circumvent Time Controls put
in place??
eCheckPost utilizes a technology that is independent of the system clock. Therefore,
any attempt by a user to circumvent Time Controls using the system clock will not
affect the Time Controls settings in eCheckPost.
How do I enable Windows username integration?
- Right click the eCheckPost icon on the taskbar.
- Under “Local Controls”, select “Configuration”.
- Select the “Windows Users” tab and check the “Integrate Windows Users” icon.
